How this site was made
FrameTarget is 100% AI-generated. Every line of code, every sentence on these pages and the design were written by Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic, working in Claude Code. One person directed it: they said what they wanted, tried the result and decided what to keep.
How we worked
- In plain words. Ideas and problems came as chat messages in Norwegian and English, such as a screenshot of shuffling that kept showing the same game, or a question about whether part prices would work in England and the USA. Claude wrote the code and the tests, opened the site in a browser to see the result, and explained what it changed and why.
- Checked, not guessed. Claude was asked to say when it was unsure rather than guess. The PC estimates were tested against measured benchmarks of 89 games before going live, and over a hundred automated tests run before each change goes out.
- A person decides. What to build, what it may cost and what to share were the owner’s calls, and they asked about the risks before anything that stores data about people was added.
- Limits are stated. Each page says where its numbers come from, which ones are estimates and what didn’t work (no UK store lets this site read its prices, so UK prices are converted from German ones).
What that means for you
- Estimates are estimates. PC frame rates come from a model built on the games’ requirements, not from running the game on your hardware. Half of them land within 27% of what benchmarks measured; some games run much better or worse.
- It can be wrong. AI-written code has mistakes like any other, and the sources it reads change. Check before you buy anything, and share what you really get on the Community page, so the estimates get better.
- Nothing hidden. No ads, no tracking, no paid placements. What’s stored is on the privacy page.
Where the data comes from
Public sources, credited at the bottom of every page: Steam, PCGamingWiki, SteamDeckHQ, ShareDeck, ProtonDB, Are We Anti-Cheat Yet, HowLongToBeat, the Steam Hardware Survey, a few stores’ prices and the European Central Bank’s exchange rates. The site isn’t affiliated with any of them, or with Valve.
