Will it run on Steam Frame?

Valve’s ratings for playing games on the Steam Frame headset on its own, without a PC. Search for a game, or browse what’s Verified.

What the ratings mean
  • Verified: Valve tested the game on the Frame’s own chip. VR games hold at least 72 FPS at 1728×1728 per eye; flat-screen games at least 30 FPS at 720p, with full support for the Frame’s controllers. It means the game largely works without issues, not that it’s the best it can look.
  • Playable: it works on the Frame on its own, with some compromises.
  • Unsupported: it doesn’t run well on its own (VR games below 1440×1440 per eye). You can still download and try it.
  • Streaming from a PC: the ratings only cover playing on the headset itself. Streamed from a gaming PC, any game runs as well as that PC runs it; see the Your PC tab.

The ratings are Valve’s, read from Steam. Valve first asked VR games for 90 FPS and lowered it to 72 FPS at a higher resolution in its documentation (reported by Road to VR, August 2026).
